Bull and Briar Leather was born from a deep rooted passion for craftsmanship, heritage, and the outdoors. Its founder, Bryan Wynn, discovered his love for working with his hands at a young age while spending time in his grandfather’s upholstery shop. There, among rolls of fabric, spools of thread, and the rhythmic hum of a1943 Singer Sewing Machine, Bryan learned the timeless art of sewing and attention to detail that would later define his craft.
Those early days were about more than just stitching, they were about connection. Under his grandfather’s guidance Bryan learned patience, precision, and pride in creating something that lasts. Around the same time he developed another lifelong passion, a love for hunting, wildlife, and the rugged beauty of the outdoors. These two worlds craftsmanship and nature would one day merge to form the heart of Bull and Briar Leather.
Years later Bryan tracked down that very same old Singer sewing machine. As he began teaching himself to sew again, the familiar hum reignited his passion for creation. What began as a simple idea, making a custom rattlesnake belt for a friend,quickly evolved into something much larger.
Today, Bull and Briar Leather stands as a tribute to tradition, craftsmanship, and the wild spirit of the American outdoors. Every piece, from handcrafted belts to custom leather goods, reflects the same dedication and authenticity that first inspired Bryan as a boy in his grandfather’s shop.
What started as a personal project has grown into a thriving business that now offers individual pieces and wholesale collections, proudly made for those who appreciate quality, character, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
