I ordered this late one night and the next day I got a call from one of their southern accented female employees informing me that they were still in the tanning process of their eastern rattlesnake. She politely offered to send me the cane break rattlesnake hatband immediately, or if I didn't mind waiting, it could be up to 3 weeks till shipment. I was in no hurry. The order was confirmed on September 10th, and delivered on Sept 21st. Initially, I expected this to have a little more black in the skin. But knowing that they all are one of a kind I understood that isn't always possible. I had originally bought this for a burnt up black western fedora, but once I saw it, I pivoted to my Stetson 6X Rancher in Sahara color. The rancher has a 5" tall cattleman's crown, so the 1" band looks really shnazzy. I definitely plan to buy a few of Bull & Briar's other snakeskin offerings. Great quality, extremely satisfied. It was clear to me these are made in the USA.
